Delete of DPF/FAP in engines with SID321 (Renault Master, Opel Movano, Nissan Navara, NV400)

What is a DPF system?

DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) – A component of the exhaust system found in diesel engines and, less commonly, in petrol engines.

The main purpose of implementing a diesel particulate filter (DPF) is to filter the particles which occur in the combustion process. The exhaust gas subjected to the filtration process retains its largest elements on the filter, preventing the particles from entering the atmosphere.

Failure of the DPF system in SID321

Filters are constructed to use as much surface area as possible to be taken up by contaminants. At the same time, this means that the longer such a filter is subjected to operation, its efficiency decreases significantly. This leads to time-consuming and vehicle-grounding filter cleaning services or fuel consuming regeneration processes, which do not go hand in hand with long-term engine life.

When severe damage or clogging of the diesel particulate filter occurs, we have to prepare ourselves for the considerable costs involved in repairing or, even worse, replacing the component. The DPF system emulator for the SID321 control unit is our answer to that problem.

The answer to DPF problems in your Renault Master? Emulating the system

Our diesel particulate filter emulator is a device that simulates the operation of a fully operational diesel particulate filter/DPF.

Through our device, the engine control unit (ECU) does not generate DPF-related errors and does not force regeneration of the filter.

In the process of installing the device, the physical removal of the DPF is required. Contact us and get your Renault Master DPF emulator today!
